NovaBiotics has identified a series of peptides that are active against the organisms associated with acne and polymicrobial dermal infections.

Physiological skin pH and salt concentration are not inhibitory to the peptide action. The peptides are not haemolytic or cytotoxic at active doses.

 

There is potential for application alone or in combination with currently available agents.
